The Heartland Retail POS Training course is designed to provide valuable insights into not only how to use the point of sale system, but also how to optimize it effectively. New and existing Heartland users alike will find a huge benefit in the quick, yet informative video-guided lessons on each and every aspect from the front end point of sale to the back end operations.

Throughout this course, users will be guided through 7 modules that cover the 7 specific areas of Heartland Retail POS:

  1. Dashboard
  2. Point of Sale
  3. Sales
  4. Inventory
  5. Purchasing
  6. User-Defined Fields
  7. Reporting

Each module contains a number of chapters that correspond with the section available in the system. For example, Module 3 - Purchasing contain 4 different chapters because the Purchasing tab in Heartland has 4 sections. Within each chapter, users will find at least 1 lesson. Each lesson offers both a video-guided lesson and a written guide so users can choose to learn the way they do best!

Most lessons in this course will also contain practice exercises that users can choose to complete to help better understand the content. If users choose to complete the practice exercises, it is highly recommended that they do so in their training environment. If users do not currently have a training envrionment, our team will gladly help get them started on one!

As users progress through this course, they will have 90 days of full access to the Retail by CRS team, including our trainer, Alexandra, and account manager, Owen, who are dedicated to building and refining this course for each and every user. Additionally, users will have direct access to Dan Holman - CEO and Director of Planning for Retail by CRS, as well as a nation-wide guest speaker specializing in data analysis and reporting - to assist in creating custom reports tailored to THEIR specific business needs!
